Arielle Kahana, MA

Therapist | Doctoral Trainee

Arielle Kahana (she/her/hers), MA, is a doctoral trainee at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Psychology with a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Arielle obtained her Master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver in 2021. Arielle’s background includes working with athletes, adolescents, adults, and addressing an array of mental health challenges. She believes deeply in the therapeutic relationship and fostering a safe climate for her clients, where they feel respected and valued. Arielle uses an integrative and collaborative approach, employing various modalities to meet her client's needs, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. Additionally, she seeks to incorporate mindfulness, breathing exercises, and fostering mind-body awareness into her practice.
