Reaching HOPE is a nonprofit dedicated to providing compassionate and supportive mental health services to those impacted by child abuse, sexual assault, relationship violence and other trauma.

PARENTING SUPPORT
Therapeutic support and education for parents on how to most effectively help your child flourish after surviving adversity.
INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY
One-on-one sessions with your therapist focused on achieving your individual needs and goals.
INDIVIDUAL PLAY THERAPY
A specific type of therapy designed for children that uses play as a medium for expressing and working through their concerns.
GROUP PSYCHOTHERAPY
Gathering with others who have similar concerns in a supportive, confidential, and therapeutic environment led by a psychologist. Group therapy is availale for children and adults.
COUPLE / FAMILY PSYCHOTHERAPY
Therapeutic intervention for couples or families to help strengthen the connections between family members.
Reaching HOPE provides compassionate mental health services that support trauma survivors in ending the intergenerational cycle of violence. Reaching HOPE supports children, adults, and families in Healing from interpersonal trauma through Outreach to those currently impacted, Prevention efforts for those at risk, and Empowerment of those making the journey from victim to survivor. HOPE is found through individual, family, and group therapy services; parenting support; presentations and trainings; psychoeducation; and community partnerships.

Dr. Ambra Born
Dr. Ambra Born, co-founder of Reaching HOPE, is a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with child, adolescent and family survivors of complex trauma. Ambra believes in people's ability to recover from adversity and become stronger because of every life event. In therapy, Ambra will work with you, your child, and/or your family to overcome obstacles and emerge with more confidence, resiliency, and hope. Ambra also offers Animal Assisted Therapy with her therapy dog, Hercules.
Ambra received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Child and Adolescent Track from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has been working with trauma survivors for the past 7 years. She has experience with youth and families from culturally diverse backgrounds and enjoys working closely with foster, adoptive, single, teen, and LGBT parents and families.
Dr. Aubrey Austin
Dr. Aubrey Austin, co-founder of Reaching HOPE, specializes in treating adult survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, and other traumas. Aubrey understands the unique needs of trauma survivors and works to create a safe, supportive, and empathic environment in therapy where healing can begin. Aubrey will help you find your inner strength to heal and empower you to take your life back.
Aubrey earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas, with a specialization in marriage and family issues. Over the past 7 years, Aubrey has worked with trauma survivors by providing psychotherapy, serving as a first-responder at emergency rooms providing crisis counseling to those recently victimized, and testifying as an Expert Witness in domestic violence for Colorado courts.
