Cyndia Garris
Bilingual Operations Coordinator
Cyndia Colon Garris (she/her) is the Operations Coordinator at Reaching HOPE. She earned a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State she developed a heart for varying diverse populations, which led to her becoming involved with a program that helped unhoused people groups receive resources and help from local community partnerships. This program included a local food pantry, free medical and dental care, and translation services. Cyndia led a thriving youth program for high and middle school students for 6 years. She is deeply passionate about helping and seeing youth in diverse settings grow, transform, and heal from past wounds and trauma. While not in the office, she can be seen watching anything sports related, reading a good book, and hanging out with her amazing husband and 3 teenage daughters.
