Elisa Fricke, MA

Elisa Fricke (she/her/hers) is a third-year doctoral student at the University of Denver’s
Graduate School of Professional Psychology. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology
and French from Pennsylvania State University. Elisa’s clinical experience includes working with
individuals impacted by trauma in community mental health and residential day treatment
settings, with a specialization in adolescents and families. She has also provided couples therapy
in outpatient settings and worked in school environments to further her passion for systems
work.
Elisa takes a trauma-informed approach, utilizing cyclical psychodynamic frameworks to support
her clients. As a certified yoga instructor, she integrates mindfulness into her therapeutic work,
incorporating grounding exercises and somatic awareness to help clients reconnect with
themselves. She is deeply committed to understanding and addressing systemic influences on
mental health, aiming to foster empowerment and healing within the individuals, families, and
communities she serves. Her goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel
heard, supported, and empowered in their journey toward growth and self-efficacy.
