Katie Bagarella, PsyD

Post-Doctoral Therapist

Dr. Katie Bagarella (she/her) is a postdoctoral therapist at Reaching Hope. She earned her Doctorate in School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her training spans educational and clinical settings, with a focus on supporting children, adolescents, and families. Katie is especially passionate about the intersection of mental health and education, empowering families to understand their educational rights and advocate for their needs in school settings.

She has experience working in the child welfare system, community mental health clinics, and schools, where she developed an in-school therapeutic program to expand access to care for students. To broaden her training, Katie completed her pre-doctoral internship at a domestic violence agency, providing trauma-informed therapy to adult survivors. She is also deeply committed to pre- and post-vention crisis support within schools and communities.

Katie is excited to join the Reaching Hope team and looks forward to supporting RH families.--
