Krishna Cousins, MA
Therapist | Doctoral Trainee

Krishna Cousins (she/her/hers), MA, is a fourth-year doctoral candidate at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology. She specializes in working with children and families and also has a strong interest in assessment work with children. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish and Hispanic Studies. Before working at Reaching HOPE, Krishna has worked in community mental health settings and private practice. She does work with infant and early childhood mental health, adolescents, couples, adults, and families. Krishna is focused on delivering integrative and collaborative care using modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She utilizes mindfulness, harm reduction, and culturally informed care, and harnesses community resources to support clients in their growth.
